Windsor Mechanicsville Road

UIC has completed various projects for the Ashtabula County Engineers on Windsor Mechanicsville Road spanning many years
The original project was the rehabilitation of the covered bridge located near the Grand River Manor.
The second phase of this project was removing and replacing the existing bridge south of SR 6 with a new structure including wood piling, concrete abutments, precast box beams, sealing and asphalt paving.
The third phase of the project was to replace a failing culvert. We removed the culvert and replaced it with a new cast in place culvert.

Cuyahoga Route 2 and Route 6 Bridge Repair

UIC worked with the Ohio Department of Transportation in Cuyahoga County to replace part of the bridge that spans over State Route 2 and State Route 6.
Along with partially replacing the bridge deck, UIC also performed extensive traffic control. Workers had to reroute traffic patterns to allow for traffic to flow but also allow for work to be accomplished. The replaced bridge deck had to be repainted and sealed following the work that was done.

Ashtabula County Port Authority C-Plant

UIC worked with the Ashtabula County Port Authority at the C-Plat location in Ashtabula County.
UIC provided demolition services of all piping and valves in the plant. After demo, workers replaced all pipes and valves throughout the plant. Along with new piping and valves, all pumps were replaced with new ones during the project. UIC also provided value engineering to help reduce the cost of the project.
